Dark Heat is a collection of four different stories that start the Dark Kings series.
It was a great read. Donna Grant has a unique style of writing that if you like historical romances with a paranormal twist to it this would be a great read.
The main female characters in each of the stories were easy to relate to and the main male characters in each of the stories would make you scratch your head from time to time.
There are times throughout each story that kinda of made me mad due to the fact that at one point the stories kinda slowed too much for my taste, but with that said they were still good and it is something that I would reread in the future.
Some readers might not like the romance part that much because she does make it the biggest part of the story lines for each of the stories. There is some action (fighting and arguing) throughout the stories but the focus is mostly on the romance between the two main characters in the stories.
I would recommend this book to those that are more into the historical romance stories with a twist here and there. I really did enjoy it.
