my review image

I was given this ARC in return for an honest review. Blood in her Veins is a collection of 19 short stories from the Jane Yellowrock series. It was a great collection of the stories.

This a great compilation of the short stories that go along with the Jane Yellowrock series. It is great through these stories to learn more about Jane herself. Jane is my favorite character and to learn more about who she and where she is from was great. This compilation of stories made it possible to learn about her.

I really enjoyed The Early Years and Snafu. There was only one story in this compilation of stories that I really didn’t care for and that was Wesa and the Lumber King, due to the fact that it was too short and had very little information for my liking. But the rest of the stories in this compilation where great.

If you love the Jane Yellowrock series you need to grab yourself a copy of Blood in Her Veins.

I give Blood in Her Veins 5 stars and would recommend the whole Jane Yellowrock series to anyone who loves paranormal romances. Faith Hunter really knows how to capture the readers attention and keep them captivated to the pages.

This is my favorite series! I can’t wait for the new stories! I’ve read the previously published shorts and loved learning more about Jane and Beast’s pasts, meeting Jane from Bruiser’s perspective, learning how Rick ended up with his cat tattoos that seemed so appropriate for a relationship with Jane, finding out how Jane and Molly became best friends, and much, much more! There is also a novella that introduces us to Nell, the main character in the new series that begins with Blood of the Earth, which comes out in August.

  3. Tammy M

I have read the series numerous times! I can’t get enough! I’m looking forward to seeing thru the eyes of the other characters, and the two novellas!
