Now, Jane has referred Nell to PsyLED, a Homeland Security agency policing paranormals, and agent Rick LaFleur has shown up at Nell’s doorstep. His appearance forces her out of her isolated life into an investigation that leads to the vampire Blood Master of Nashville.

Nell has a team—and a mission. But to find the Master’s kidnapped vassal, Nell and the PsyLED team will be forced to go deep into the heart of the very cult Nell fears, infiltrating the cult and a humans-only terrorist group before time runs out…

Misty’s Review of BLOOD OF THE EARTH

Blood of the Earth is book 1 in her new series Soulwood. This is an excellent story. I really enjoyed reading it. Faith Hunter knows exactly how to captivate her readers to the pages of her novels. She can draw you into her worlds that she creates.

Soulwood is the story of Nell Ingram. Nell draws her magic from the earth. Jane Yellowrock sent PsyLED to her for help. At first Nell is reluctant to help because she would have to go into the cult that she escaped. She didn’t want anything to do with this cult.

Nell helps PsyLED agents and is recruited to become an agent. Now Nell is no longer alone and she not only has her team she also has her family back. She is working on reconnecting with her family that she was isolated from by her own choice. She is happy to have her family back in her life.

To find out what happened go grab your copy of Blood of the Earth.

I give Blood of the Earth 5 stars and would recommend this new series to anyone who loves paranormals and the Jane Yellowrock series. This is one that I will reread again.
